FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are the lead times for your products?
A: This can vary depending on the level of work and current work loads. Please note the lead time statement located at the bottom of each item and also please note we are a small custom shop and lead times can be extended. During holiday or sales times, lead times tend to increase- Due to a high influx of orders and supplier delays from COVID-19, there is a MINIMUM 6-8 week lead time for certain products.  Military and LE orders that need prioritization, please let us know prior to purchase to confirm delivery deadlines.

Q: The color/pattern/material/size option I am looking for says "Unavailable".  Is that really the case?
A: Most likely it is not the case and we can make the item.  In some cases we offer over a hundred of different combinations for different material or color/pattern options for a single product, and our website only offers so many variants. Just reach out to us and we can simply make the option available or send you a separate invoice for the product requested.

Q: I have this fabric I want made into something. Can I send you the fabric and you create a product for me?
A: Yes we can!

Q: Where are your items made?
A: Here in the USA!  More specifically, Berkeley Springs, WV and Hagerstown, MD.

Q: Do you have a warranty?
A: All tactical nylon goods produced by us carry a lifetime warranty, no questions asked on the workmanship of the product.  Electronic items like Night Vision devices, lasers, or armor carry their own specific warranty(ies).  Please note that the warranty is good for workmanship and not necessarily on the materials of the items.  We make sure to only use high end/mil-spec materials, but over time, textile products can wear down.  For example, elastic will eventually wear out and lose its stretch, and that is not the fault of us here at A&A Tactical.  This would happen with any manufacturer when utilizing the same materials we do.  That doesn't mean that we won't work with you though on getting you a replacement. If you have any warranty questions or need something replaced, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we will make things right!

Q: My item came to me and there are faint/light white/colored lines on the item itself, what is that?
A: That is just chalk from our tracking lines to make sure we sew where we intend to.  It comes off over time or with warm water.

Q: I noticed one of the items I purchased has these small pieces of white/black plastic. What is that?
A: When our machine's needle punches through the HDPE (High Density Polyethylene), fancy word for plastic, insert that is inside the product you ordered, it can sometimes leave material from the little hole behind much like when you punch a hole in paper.  These are harmless and usually just fall right off with normal use or a quick light scraping of your fingernail.

Q: Do you offer a military or law enforcement discount?
A
: We do! Please reach out to Luigi@AandATactical.com using your Dept/Agency email address for the appropriate discount code. Please note that a censored identification may be required if a Dept/Agency email address is not used for the request.

Q: Do you ship to APO or FPO addresses?
A: Yes we do!

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: We do, however, some items on our site may be ITAR controlled, in which case we cannot send those out of the country.

Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: You can cancel your order, however, please note that due to the custom nature of our products, if an order is cancelled prior to the stated lead time on the item page at the time of purchase, a 20% reallocation/re-cutting fee will be deducted from the refund total. Reallocation/re-cutting fee is not applied to orders that are past the item's stated lead time at purchase. For NVG Rentals that are cancelled: a 20% cancellation fee will be deducted from the customer's refund total, or the customer may opt for a credit issued in the amount of the order total to be applied to a future rental.  In the event a customer does not submit ITAR/Rental forms or ID in a timely manner and the rental goes overdue, ONLY a credit for a future rental will be issued.  No refunds given for orders cancelled due to lack of communication or untimely completion for forms/submission of ID.

Q: Can I return my item?
A: If for some reason you are dissatisfied, you absolutely can return your order as long as it is not in used condition and within the allotted time frame, which is usually 30 days unless an item is exempt.  Certain products may be exempt from returns, such as open medical supplies.  Any items that are returned are subject to a 15% restocking fee that will be deducted from the customer's refund total.

Additionally, if an item is made and delivered in an uncommon colorway or size (ie. Multicam Black and Multicam Mesh Helmet Cover), and it is not expected to be re-sold in a timely fashion once returned, a restocking fee of 25% will be applied or in rare cases, a return may be denied. Return discretion is completely up to A&A Tactical, LLC.

Q: I am not a US citizen. Can I still rent/purchase night vision devices/IR lasers from you?
A: Unfortunately, due to ITAR regulations, you cannot.

Q: Who is Picatinny Phil?
A: Picatinny Phil is our company mascot and is a play on Punxsutawney Phil, the infamous groundhog.  Phil is a Pangolin which is a scaley armadillo-like animal found in Africa and Southeast Asia.  They are rapidly declining as a species due to poaching, therefore we decided to bring awareness to them to save the species. A portion of proceeds from all patch sales go to the African Wildlife Foundation to help combat poaching of these friendly creatures.

Q: What is your logo?
A: Our logo is also Pangolin related and is essentially two "A"s side by side with a Pangolin head facing towards you.
